Foundation Donates Electric Stand-up Patroller Vehicles to Police Department

At a press conference held on Wednesday, May 1, 2013, the Baltimore County Police Foundation was recognized for its donation of three electric stand-up vehicles (ESV) that will be used primarily in the Towson entertainment area. The vehicles cost $39,000 and were purchased with funds raised through the Foundation’s Annual Awards Dinner. Once this donation has been approved by the Baltimore County Council, the ESV’s will be deployed in downtown Towson, and be used at parades and other events throughout the county, as the need arises.
